There’s no denying the fact that the Indian IT industry has grown in leaps and bounds in the last decade or so. And the fact is, the growth of the IT industry isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.  But, on the flip side, the amount of electrical resources an IT company utilizes is also second to none. The IT industry is one of the highest contributors towards increasing the carbon footprint in the country. And we usually take this issue for granted, right? 

And Mango IT Solutions decided to change this fact. Yes, you read right. Because we think only talking about this issue in conferences & seminars won’t really help. So, we at Mango IT Solutions decided to let our actions speak more than our words. We have successfully installed a new solar panel at our head office in Indore. Thus, you can call Mango IT Solutions a ‘Green Company’ from now onwards. 

Though we still feel that we should’ve done it long before, but as they say, it’s never too late to do anything great. We think now we can match the vibe of Indore, the cleanest city of the country since the last five years. While we take a lot of pride in being a part of the cleanest city of India, we realise and value the amount of effort that goes into to make it possible. We would love to take this moment and express our heartfelt gratitude towards those who work really hard day-in day-out. Mango IT Solutions is proud to contribute a little towards that mission.

Although it was a no-brainer for us to shift towards solar panels eventually, we would like to highlight the key points that helped us to go for it.

Giving back to our Mother Earth

For all the reasons and benefits that you might consider, always keep this one at the top. Because there’s more to it than just monetary benefits. You gotta put your foot forward and proudly say that I will help the world in its fight against global warming. However, you might think that this is just a small thing comparatively, but remember, every contribution counts. This was our only motivation to move towards solar panels and we can now proudly say that ‘Yes’ we are contributing towards a better environment.

We believe that installing solar panels will not only reduce but can take away your complete electricity bills. Yes, you read it right. You can run your IT company while saving upto 75% in energy costs. Your current electricity prices should cost more per unit than you can pay for solar energy. This translates into more savings for your business. 

On an average, our sonal panel will produce around ~4 kWh units of electricity everyday while our daily consumption is lower than that. So, we are able to produce electricity in surplus. Amazing, isn’t it? Mark my words, once you have a solar panel on your roof, energy is free.

Setting an Example

The goal of conveying this news through this blog was not to get into some sort of spotlight. No, we don’t think that way. The goal is to inspire more companies for shifting towards solar panels for their electricity needs. Even if one company does it getting inspired by us, we would believe that we have been successful. This is what would be our real test and we believe that we will pass by full marks.

We wanted to set an example that Mango IT Solutions is a company that abides by its values. We don’t just put up the values for the sake of it, we follow them every single day. Apparently, we haven’t put up any fancy values just to get highlighted. We believe in simple and real values and are ensuring that we are always committed to it. And as they say, actions speak louder than words.
